Hi, I am Jennifer Deily.  I am currently living in Corvallis, Oregon, but I am originally from Utah.  I started my artist journey at a young age, and ultimately, I graduated from University of Utah with a BFA in drawing and painting, where I was awarded the E.J. Bird scholarship for artistic ability in nature and wildlife.  I work mostly in oil. I love using bold, rich color and texture to reveal the expressions, details, beauty, and sometime humor of my subjects.

In addition to my paintings, I recently illustrated a children’s book, which was incredibly fun to do using my art to match and enhance the animals’ characters in the story.  The book also brings awareness to conservation efforts around the world. I have added my artwork to handcrafted panjos.  I am a past board member of the Intermountain Society of Artists where I worked on the art show committee and the newsletter.
